Description:
Primary Antagonism is a project that originated from a simple need, the one that drives you constantly to surpass yourself and to go beyond your known boundaries in order to put your endurance to the test. Hence, in this performance, two models face each in an endurance test. The first one to move, or to get off its podium, loses. Three different videos are projected onto three separate walls. Each image is a result of a different camera. The image on the middle wall is a wide shot of the whole performance. The two videos on the sidewalls are the result of the two cameras carried by the models filming each other in a medium close-up shot. These two subjective points of view, which are faithful testimonies of what is happening, translate the immediate experience the two models are going through.
